Criteria for Consideration to be President
Must be an active member with good standing for minimum of 1 year.
Enrolled in the highest level of available Foreign Language courses. (AP Spanish or Italian 5 Accel)
Maintains an average of 95 and above in Foreign
Language courses throughout student’s high school career.
2-3 recommendations from past and current Foreign Language teachers in regard to leadership and organizational skills.
*If multiple candidates meet the same criteria the best candidate for the position will be chosen based on their GPA in LOTE during their junior year of study. Years prior will also be considered in the event of a tie.
Requirements to maintain membership in FLHS
Enrolled in the current year and following year in a Foreign Language course
Maintain 90 + Foreign Language course
Maintain an overall cumulative grade point average of 85+
Miss no more than 2 absences
Complete 20 hours of community service hours (must be FLHS approved community hours)
Participate in fundraiser and FLHS activities
Benefit of being a member in FLHS
